During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 business apps on iOS in South America showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

WhatsApp Business had a consistent download rate, peaking at around 72K in the week of October 24. The app’s weekly revenue saw a notable increase, reaching $92 in the week of November 21, before tapering off to $10 by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly from 1.07M to 1.09M throughout the quarter.

Zoom Workplace experienced fluctuations in both downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at approximately 57.7K in mid-October but declined to around 25.5K by the end of December. Active users decreased significantly from 492K to about 215K over the quarter. Weekly revenue, however, showed a steady rise, peaking at $9.3K in the week of December 19.

Microsoft Teams maintained a relatively stable download rate with minor fluctuations, reaching up to 50.5K in late September but dropping to 23.4K by the end of December. Active users saw a noticeable decline, from 593K at the beginning of the quarter to 301K by the end.

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder showed a consistent performance in terms of revenue, with weekly earnings hovering around $160K. Downloads varied slightly, peaking at 43.2K in mid-October and dipping to 34.2K by mid-December. Active users also saw a slight decline, from 645K to 594K over the quarter.

Google Meet (original) saw a steady download rate, peaking at around 43.3K in late October. However, active users declined from 370K in late September to 170K by the end of December.
